Nexys Systems Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Nexys mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a safe, transparent experience as you connect with your community.

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture.
  • Volunteer Activity: Projects you join, hours served, and points earned.
  • User Content: Posts, comments, or photos you share within the Nexys social feed.
  • Device Information: Basic technical data (IP address, operating system) to ensure app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Facilitate connections between you and volunteer organizations.
  • Maintain your “Impact Profile” and reward points system.
  • Moderate the community to ensure a safe environment (UGC moderation).
  • Send essential service updates and project notifications.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following ways:

  • With Organizations: When you join a project, the hosting organization receives your name and contact info to coordinate the event.
  • Community Visibility: Your name and public “Impact Profile” are visible to other users on project rosters or leaderboards.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law to comply with legal processes or protect the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data only as long as your account is active.

  • Account Deletion: You may initiate the deletion of your account and all associated personal data directly within the App Settings at any time.
  • Data Revocation: You may request a copy of your data or ask for specific information to be removed by contacting our support team.

5. Children’s Privacy

Nexys is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such data has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. While we strive for absolute security, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
